To celebrate the HB's recent promotion (1 year early!), we decided to take an impromptu trip to Napa for a day of delicious food and delightful wine. We started off our visit by having lunch at Bottega, Michael Chiarello's amazing restaurant. We left with our bellies full and our minds wondering how we had never eaten there before. If you get a chance to visit Yountville, I'd highly recommend it!

The Parker, 1 Year Later...

As the saying goes, time flies when you're having fun! To celebrate our 1 year anniversary, the HB and I took a much needed vacation back to The Parker Palm Springs. The Parker is one of our favorite hotels of all time, and if you take a look at some of the gorgeous details below and you'll probably understand why. What do you think?

Brightening up Joshua Tree...

Sorry I've been MIA as of late! Between work and our anniversary, it's been tricky to find time for myself these days. But now that we're back from our trip to Palm Springs, I wanted to share a bit from our mini adventure in Joshua Tree National Park. The HB and I had a grand ol' time exploring the natural beauty of Joshua Tree's amazing rock formations and working on our tans in 100 degree weather. If you haven't visited Joshua Tree before, I definitely recommend checking it out!

Spring Green...

San Francisco is back to its chilly ways, but luckily there are still bright and cheerful signs of spring all throughout the city. The HB and I took a trip out to Crissy Field this weekend to try and catch a glimpse of the Golden Gate and get some fresh air by the bay. We may have gotten more than we bargained for with the crazy wind, but all in all, it was another great SF weekend adventure. Hope your weekend was even better!

Orange Fever...

One of my favorite parts of spring is seeing all the fun pops of color in everyone's outfits around town. This season, orange seems to be everywhere and I couldn't be happier. You can't help but feel a bit cheerful when you get a peek of color here and there, don't you agree?

Day trippin'...

On a whim, the HB and I decided to take a day trip up to Yountville this weekend to celebrate the gorgeous weather. The goals of the day were to stuff ourselves silly with amazing food, drink some delicious sparklies and soak up some sun. Not bad goals to have, don't you agree?

Colors make the world a happier place...

Happy Sunday! This weekend's colorful ensemble was inspired by all of the amazing weather we've been having here in San Francisco. I just couldn't give up the chance to dig out some brights from the back of my closet. Hopefully the sunny weather will continue and we'll get to see more fun colors this season!

78 degrees and amazing...

It's not common for San Francisco to have 78 degree weather (especially in April), which was why this weekend was one of the most amazing weekends we've had in awhile. The HB and I decided to soak up as much Vitamin D as we could and embarked on a 4 hour walking tour of San Francisco along the Embarcadero. We started at AT&T Park where we ran into a few friends and ended with drinks in North Beach at the adorable Comstock Salon.

On a sunny day in SoCal...

One thing you'll quickly realize when you follow Sincerely Smitten is that I'll jump on any and every excuse to spend time in sunny LA! I miss Southern California dearly, and this weekend was yet another great reminder of why I love it so much. 

Our flight arrived early Friday evening, and we were excited to be greeted by one of my closest friends, Kathie from Couture and Chai. Kathie picked us up at LAX and promptly took us to Pizzeria Mozza for 3.5 hours of amazing food, wine and conversation. We couldn't have wished for a better "Welcome back to LA" greeting! 

Saturday morning was spent at the HB's brother's graduation with our families in Orange County. And Saturday evening was spent with one of our favorite couples at the ever fantastic, AOC. We stuffed our faces silly with delicious dishes and chatted till we were the last people in the restaurant.

All in all, it was a fantastic trip and we can't wait to do it again soon. Hope you enjoy the pictures below!
